From September 2 to 4, the XXV conference of the association Bíblica Española ( Bíblica Española) (ABE), at the University of Alcalá de HenaresThe event was part of the celebration of the 5th centenary of the Complutense Polyglot Bible.

The University of Navarra was represented by professors from the department de Sacred Scripture of the School of TheologyGonzalo Aranda, Santiago Ausín, Juan Chapa, Pablo Edo, Fernando Milán and Diego Pérez.

Professor Juan Chapa directed the seminar: "The manuscript transmission of the biblical text: Greek manuscripts".

At the gala dinner, which was attended by the Bishop of Alcalá, Bishop Juan Antonio Reig Pla, tribute was paid to the members of the association Bíblica Española who have completed seventy years. On this occasion they were: Gonzalo Aranda Pérez, Víctor Morla Asensio, Juan José Bartolomé Lafuente, Miguel Ángel Lis Soler and José Fernández Lago. However, due to various circumstances, only the first two could be present. Professor Santiago Ausín delivered the laudatio of Professor Gonzalo Aranda.
