Last Thursday, January 31, kicked off the lecture series Architecture Thursday at the Ensanche Building, headquarters provisional of the University of Navarra in Bilbao. Around forty people came to listen to Deborah Saunt, from DSDH London, one of the most influential architects in the English capital according to the EveningStandard 2018.

Thursdays of Architecture is an author's lecture series to position of internationally renowned architects, which has the support of the British Council, the City Council of Bilbao and the high school of Architects of Bizkaia. On January 29th, the University of Navarra signed a agreement with the City Council of Bilbao within the framework of the project Bilbao Ciudad Universitaria. Through this agreement, the University will start in the city several teaching and professional interest projects related to Architecture and the design with the intention of lasting in time and be extended to other centers of the University.

The current headquarters of the University of Navarra in Bilbao, the Ensanche Building, will host conferences, exhibitions and summer courses. Also, teaching from postgraduate program will be offered, since two modules of the Master's Degree University Degree in Architecture can be taken there, as well as in Madrid. In addition, the students of the Master's Degree in Theory and Architectural design are expected to hold a workshop in the city.
