Around 700 people, most of them graduates from all the classes, as well as current students -many of them from the first year of ISSA at campus in Pamplona-, former academic staff, boards of directors and other guests participated in the commemorative events of the 50th anniversary of ISSA, the attendance school of Management of the University of Navarra, which opened its doors in Donostia-San Sebastián on October 1, 1963.

Holy Mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in the Basilica of Santa Maria del Coro. The celebration was presided by the Bishop, Mons. José Ignacio Munilla and the Orfeón Donostiarra, together with the soprano Elena Barbé.

The commemorative ceremony took place at the Victoria Eugenia Theater in the presence of President of the University of Navarra, academic authorities and representatives of the collaborating institutions and companies. The journalist Andoni Orrantia, editor and presenter of ETB and partner with different media, was the person in charge of conducting this event in which it was intended to remember all the people who made possible this academic project as well as all those who have passed through its classrooms.

Afterwards, the 50th anniversary was celebrated with a meal at alumni in the Hotel María Cristina in San Sebastián. Many of them came this weekend to the capital of Gipuzkoa from their cities of origin to remember their university years.

This exhibition was inaugurated by José Mari Echarri, president of the Orfeón Donostiarra, who congratulated all the students present and emphasized that "ISSA is an institution that if it had not existed, it would have had to be invented".

The sample, mainly photographic, is organized in different panels where you can learn about the life of the institution throughout the different decades. These panels and the material on display will show the passage of the many students through the classrooms, the training received, the different sectors in which they work and the international outreach of high school.

The exhibition will also move to campus of Pamplona of the University of Navarra in spring, precisely to Amigos Building, where the current students of the Degree in attendance in Management-ManagementAssistance, offered by ISSA since its adaptation to the Bologna Plan, are currently studying their first year.
