The University joins the 'Family Global Compact'.

It is a pact that brings together the centers of study and research on the family of the world's Catholic universities.

The Master's Degree University of Navarra's University of Marriage and Family of the University of Navarra has joined the group of Catholic universities that have adhered to the Family Global Compact. This is a shared program of actions aimed at establishing a dialogue between family ministry and the centers of study and research on the family present in Catholic universities around the world.

This initiative comes from the Dicastery for the Laity, the Family and Life together with the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences and was born from the programs of study and research on the cultural and anthropological relevance of the family, as well as on the new challenges it must face.

Sonia Rivas, director of the Master's Degree in Marriage and Family and professor at the School of Education and Psychologyanalyzes the significance of joining this pact: "Firstly, it is a recognition, by including the postgraduate program in the international network of research and teaching centers dedicated to the study of the family. Secondly, it pushes to strengthen the offer of the University Master's Degree in Marriage and Family as a promoter enclave of programs of study deep, adequate and according to the times on the anthropological, legal, educational, economic and social relevance of marriage and the family. Finally, it can favor the involvement of more actors of the university world in the teaching and research of this Master's Degree, because of the natural synergies that can be created among the network of centers adhered to the pact".

To train leaders in Marriage and Family

The Master's Degree in Marriage and Family of the University of Navarra has been training professionals specialized in the field of the family for more than 20 editions, offering a rigorous and creative proposal professor . It trains students in all the structural elements of marriage and the family from an interdisciplinary perspective. Since its inception, it has more than 700 graduates from 40 countries.
