Three curators of Patrimonio Nacional, from the Royal Palace, visited the bequest Ortiz Echagüe of the University of Navarra. They are Álvaro Soler, curator of the Royal Armory; Pilar de Benito, curator of the Palace; and Juan José Alonso, Deputy Director of file of the Royal Palace.

The specialists were interested in the photographic collections housed at bequest Ortiz Echagüe, both the collection of José Ortiz Echagüe himself and that corresponding to the 19th century. The latter includes a large group of photographs of the Royal Palace and the Royal Armory, some of which recently participated in a exhibition organized at partnership with the City Council of Pamplona.

The three curators had the opportunity to admire a wide selection of the collection and were interested in how the photographs of bequest Ortiz Echagüe are organized and preserved. Likewise, Professor Asunción Domeño, coordinator of bequest, showed and explained to them the database catalog prepared by staff in charge of this entity of the University of Navarra.

At the conclusion of their visit the curators of the Royal Palace expressed their admiration for the quality of the collections, their state of conservation and for the work developed at bequest.
