The program will begin on May 2 with the opening of the exhibition 'WERK 6/62' at the entrance hall of the School of Architecture.

Two sections are proposed at congress . The workshop on May 3 will address the topic of 'Magazines and the genesis of modern architecture'. It will be devoted to the study of the concept of architectural magazine, its mission statement and objectives, its contents -both actual and desirable or intended-, its character -artistic, aesthetic, reflexivoconceptual or technical-, its authority and its documentary value.

The second section will take place on May 4 and will deal with 'Spanish architecture and magazines'. It aims to collect the programs of study and research on the role that magazines played in the years of genesis of modern Spanish architecture as a means of training and information for architects and as a channel for the dissemination of their ideas and works, the international approval of their work and the consolidation and affirmation of their convictions.

The speakers will be Mark Wigley, from Columbia University; Víctor Pérez Escolano, from the University of Seville; Antonio Pizza, from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia; and José Manuel Pozo, from the University of Navarra.
