27 companies and institutions committed to sustainability participate in a meeting of work on design environmental and constructive

In this meeting, framed in the Master's Degree in design and management Environmental of Buildings, the ACSP scholarship program was presented.

27 companies and institutions committed to the development of a more sustainable Building were quotation in the meeting of group of work in design Environmental and Constructive. Entitled 'Transfer of knowledge and partnership University-business', it took place at framework of Master's Degree at design and management Environmental Building (MDGAE).

This group has as its main goal to bring together the interests of companies involved in the construction of buildings and to promote the university training through the programs of study of postgraduate program in sustainability and energy efficiency offered by the School of Architecture. It also seeks to establish the maximum issue of synergies and to adapt the university training offered by the MDGAE to the profiles currently demanded by companies.

The session was attended by the Mayor of Pamplona City Council, Enrique Maya, and the Minister of Development of the Government of Navarra, Luis Zarraluqui Ortigosa. There were also representatives of ACR, Siemens, Idom, Iberdrola, FEU, the Moderna Foundation, Antonio Erro and Euqui, Obenasa, Construcciones Leache, Ecay Construcciones, PEFC, VDR y Proyectos, OHL, Visesa, Madergia, Saltoki, Boscalia, Miyabi, AIN, Luz y Espacio, Ademán, Foresna and Construcciones Andia.

partnership between business, University and administration
The director of the School, José Ángel Medina, encouraged the attendees to find ways of mutual partnership between the University and business to achieve "excellence and innovation" in the sustainable construction sector. In this sense, Enrique Maya stressed the need for public administrations to also get involved in this joint work and emphasized the relevance of these practices to innovate in cities.

For her part, Ana Sánchez-Ostiz, director of the MDGAE, recalled the objectives agreed for last year's training and their fulfillment in the following two areas: internationalizationThe program's objectives were as follows academic staff and the quantification of sustainability, through the research.

Eduardo Domingo, director of development of the School, explained the launch of the postgraduate program Architectural and Construction Scholarship Program (ACSP). Through it, companies can collaborate in the training of future sustainability specialists who will respond to the upcoming challenges facing construction and energy rehabilitation.

Finally, representatives of the institutions that are part of committee advisor of Master's Degree intervened: group ACR and Chair Madera.
