85 students from high school diploma participate in the III Olympiad of Philosophy

More than a dozen schools in Navarre participated in the workshop

85 students from 1st and 2nd year of high school diploma participated last Friday in the III Olympiad of Philosophy, in which the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra collaborates and which also counts with the sponsorship of Kukuxumusu, Librerías Troa, Ediciones Chair, the department of Education of the Government of Navarra and K-tuin. The test consisted of preparing a brief essay on the topic "Can the Philosophy help to solve some of the problems of today's society?".

The students came from the following schools: high school Sto. Tomás, Ntra. Sra. del Huerto, IES Eunate BHI, IES Marqués de Villena, Liceo Monjardín, IES place de la Cruz, IES Navarro Villoslada, Irabia, Luis Amigó, IES Zizur Mayor BHI, El Redín and IES Ibaialde. The winners will be announced on March 21 and will be eligible to participate in the national phase to be held in April in Salamanca.

From this year the Olympiad of Philosophy of Navarra also has a second category of philosophical photography. Twenty students from high school diploma from seven different schools and a total of 26 photographs have been received, which are exhibited at the School of Communication of the University of Navarra. The winners of this category will also be announced on March 21.
