The Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) is holding its IV annual meeting on Thursday, November 20 under the title degree scroll 'Technology and society'.. It will take place at auditorium of Hexagon Building from 10 am to 5 pm.

The opening ceremony will be held at position by Iciar Astiasarán, Vice President of research of the University; Jaime García del Barrio, director general of the ICS; and Ana Marta González, scientific coordinator of the center.

This will be followed by Javier Gil Sevillano, director of the Materials department of CEIT, who will speak on 'Materials and society'. This will be followed by the first roundtable, moderated by Inés Olza (project 'Public discourse'), with the participation of Pedro Mendi (Navarra Center for International Development), Alejandro Vigo (project 'Natural law and rationality internship'), Luis Echarte (group 'Mind-brain') and José Miguel Carrasco (ATLANTES Program).

In the afternoon, Charo Sádaba, professor of department of business Informative of the School of Communication, will analyze the 'Lights and shadows of the impact of technology in contemporary lifestyles'. Then will begin the second roundtable, which will be moderated by María Arantzamendi (ATLANTES Program) and will count with the interventions of Omar Rosas (project 'Emotional culture and identity'), Jokin de Irala (project 'Education of affectivity and human sexuality '), David Thunder (project 'Religion and Civil Society') and Cristóbal Pagán (project 'Public discourse').
