Next Wednesday, November 15, a exhibition with the work of the architect and professor Miguel Garai will be inaugurated at the Palacio del Condestable. The sample, organized by the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, will remain open to the public until December 16.

Miguel Garai, student of the first graduating class of the University of Navarra's School of Architecture , was one of the promoters of the San Sebastian School, where he taught teaching until his retirement.

In Garai's work we can see a first stage that is ascribed to rational architecture to evolve towards more contemporary trends, always linked to the reflection on the urban project . The architect is, in this sense, one of the most important figures of the architecture of the second half of the 20th century in the Basque Country.

Garai has developed an intense cultural activity since those famous Architecture Weeks, which throughout the early 1970s constituted a true international forum for architecture. A disciple and partner of Peña Ganchegui, he has developed an intense professional life. His work has been published nationally and internationally.

The exhibition will be presented by the Full Professor of Architectural Composition of the School of San Sebastian Javier Cenicacelaya.
