Nineteen students of the university Master's Degree in research, development and Drug Innovation (research and development+I) of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra visited the Royal National Academy of Pharmacy on October 7 and attended a roundtable, moderated by Dr. Antonio Monge Vega, member of issue of the Academy, with the participation of Pablo Ortiz (director of Digna Biotech) and José María Fernández Sousa-Faro (president of Zeltia).

Antonio Monge presented the roundtable with a discussion paper entitled 'Biotechnology in the finding of new drugs'. Pablo Ortiz's participation was entitled 'The transfer of biotechnology knowledge in the finding of drugs', while José María Fernández Sousa-Faro spoke on 'The development of drugs of marine origin'.

The students of the postgraduate program course who traveled to Madrid were Antonio Fernández Toscano, Almudena Domínguez Fernández, Óscar de la Serna Ruiz, Carlota de Blas Rodríguez, Miguel de Ariz Lizarraga, Carmen Dader Boronat, Rafael Contreras Corrales, Mariela Carballo Guerrero, Alba María González de la Aleja Rodríguez, Violeta Gómez Rodríguez, Carolina García Barroso, Olaia Lozano Samaniego, Haritz Moreno Moreno, Carlos Pérez Gortari, Rebeca Peñalva Sobrón, Miguel Rodríguez Faraldo, Ana Benavides Montegordo, María Sola Gil and Beatriz Romano Álvarez.
