Experts to discuss the Social State and benefit rights during the crisis

It is the VII workshop of the classroom of Parliamentary Law of the University of Navarra, which will be held tomorrow in the Parliament.

Several experts will debate tomorrow, Friday, October 21, on "Social State and welfare rights. A reflection in times of crisis" on the occasion of the VII workshop of the classroom of Parliamentary Law of the University of Navarra. At the opening of the event will intervene the President of the University of Navarra, Ángel J. Gómez Montoro; and the president of the Parliament of Navarra, Alberto Catalán.

The first discussion paper will be position of Alfonso Fernández Miranda, Full Professor of Constitutional Law of the Complutense University, who will speak on "Social State and Welfare State".

This will be followed by a roundtable entitled "Social Rights: applicability and effectiveness" with presentations by Josep María Castellà, professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Barcelona; Camino Vidal, professor at the University of Burgos and lawyer at the Constitutional Court; and José M. Rodríguez de Santiago, Full Professor of Administrative Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

The classroom of Parliamentary Law of the University of Navarra, directed by Professor Ángel J. Gómez-Montoro, organizes conferences, conference, congresses, awards of research and different activities for students oriented to deepen the study and knowledge of the political and parliamentary system.
