Breakfast on design and the hotel industry at the Confederation of Businessmen of Navarre

The University holds the second session of the Business&Design cycle, at position by designer Marc Sadler and Gianfranco Tonti, president of IFI.

The second session of the Business&Design cycle, which is organized by the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra together with the Confederación de Empresarios de Navarra (CEN) and the European Innovation Center of Navarra, will take place next Friday, March 24, at 9:00 a.m. at CEN.

position The lecture will be hosted by designer Marc Sadler and Gianfranco Tonti, president of IFI, business specialized in hospitality furniture. From parallel points of view, both professionals will tell their experience in the application of design to the hospitality industry.

"We wanted to focus on the hospitality sector, which is so important in our community, with the intention of contributing to its development from the design", says Eduardo Domingo, director of development of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra.

The Business&Design cycle, aimed at businessmen, entrepreneurs and interested public, aims to show with close examples how a good design -in all its meanings (services, fashion, product, etc.)- can have a very positive influence on business. The entrance is free and requires previousregistration , through the web page of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra.

The speakers

Gianfranco Tonti is the president of IFI, an Italian company specialized in the production of hospitality furniture. He is recognized as the main introducer of design on business as a driver of innovation, and has received prestigious international awards such as the Compasso d'Oro Award, the Grandesignetico or the IF Product Design Award (2012), among others.

Marc Sadler has worked in France, Italy, Asia and the United States. He collaborates with major companies in the furniture, small and large household appliances, lighting, as well as industrial products. He has won the Compasso d'Oro on several occasions, most recently in 2014 for the 'Bellevue' ice cream display, made with Panorama technology.
