Modesto Santos, professor of Ethics and Sociology at the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra, has been appointed corresponding academician of the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. This institution, founded by Pope Leo XIII, was renewed by John Paul II following the promulgation of the Encyclical Fides et Ratio. The purpose of this academy is to promote and to promote dialogue between faith and reason, between Philosophy and theology.
