A project of the studio of architect José Morales, Visiting Professor of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, has won the first award 2012 AIT Awards: Worldwide Architecture Competition in the category 'Living'. Specifically, the work of the Morales Giles Mariscal studio that has received the distinction is '140 social housing units in Monte Hacho, Ceuta'.
Likewise, the studio has been selected in the 'Top Ten' in the 'Education' category with the 24-classroom building and Departments of the Pablo de Olavide University, carried out at partnership with Miguel Hernández Valencia.
A total of 1,550 built projects from 46 countries were submitted to competition, which has been open for the last four years. The award ceremony took place in Frankfurt (Germany).
