With a mixture of enthusiasm, nerves, excitement, expectations and giddiness, the 150 new students of the School of Education and Psychology have already taken their first university steps.

The students, gathered at classroom 1 of Amigos Building, attended sessions that began with the words of the Vice-Dean of Students, Professor Sonia Rivas, who gave them a brief overview of the tools they have at their disposal to position themselves within the University.

Professor Rivas insisted on the importance of behaving as professionals from the first day and on the role of counseling. She also wanted to introduce the course coordinators and programs of study, as well as to talk to them about the existing communication tools between them and the teachers. goal "All of this," Rivas insisted, "with the aim of helping them get the most out of their programs of study and their time at the University".

Along the same lines, the Director of development of School, Marie-Anne Reynell, invited them to project themselves as professionals, to take charge of their professional lives and to think about who and why they might be hired in the future. To this end, she insisted on the importance of "working well, with rectitude, honesty and commitment, always at the service of others".

After taking some nice family photos, there was also time for the upperclassmen to share, in a close way, their experience as university students. They wanted to encourage the first year students to take advantage of their time at the university, making the most of all the opportunities that the University of Navarra offers, which are not limited to classes: volunteer activities, groups of students helping students, Cultural Activities Office and a long etcetera.

The morning's workshop was completed by more specific sessions on each of the Degrees, and the use of computer tools or the Library Services.
