The School of Education and Psychology of the University of Navarra has organized on September 2 and 3 some conference to reflect on the importance of the flexibility in the quality of the center educational. Speakers from universities such as Cambridge and Barcelona, and from institutions such as the Ministry of Education, Oxfam Intermón and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum participated in the conference .

The opening of the course was attended by the counselor of Education of the Government of Navarra José Iribas, the Associate Dean of research Ángel Sobrino and the Vice-Dean of Students Carolina Ugarte, from the School of Education and Psychology of the University of Navarra.

The speaker Alison PeacockThe head teacher of Wroxham School (UK), collaborates in the project of research of the University of Cambridge graduate 'Learning without limits', which explores the possibilities of transforming relationships and Structures to increase the freedom to learn. "From the school education community we can work to build an inclusive, humane and empowering learning environment for everyone, a place free from rigid practices and deterministic ways of thinking around the concept of skill", he said.

For Alfonso González Hermoso de Mendoza, former general director of assessment and territorial cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the Education faces an "organizational and procedural transformation if it wants to respond to the challenges demanded by the new citizenship". For him, ICTs play "a fundamental role" but not as an end in themselves but "as an instrument to prepare people, for the learning of new contents adapted to the social challenges that students will have to face".

Teresa Romañá, professor at the University of Barcelona and expert in environmental Education and pedagogical spaces, considered that "school spaces must be habitable in order to be educational". According to her, "active participation and coexistence are fostered in this space-Education dialogue".

Likewise, "the management role in a social and/or educational organization has certain possibilities and limits that must necessarily be explored in order to make flexibility a reality", as expressed by Santi Bolíbar, from department of People and Organizations of Oxfam Intermón.

The internship of this educational flexibility has been the object of discussion in the different experiences presented by the participants in the roundtable programmed by the course.
