The researcher Xabier Artaetxebarria Artieda, from the CIMA of the University of Navarra, has received the award Special Award for Young People of the XIV edition of the CAF-Elhuyar scientific knowledge dissemination awards. The award consisted of a sculpture by Imanol Andonegi and a cash prize of 400 € award .

The PhD student of campus Pamplona has been distinguished for his article "Diagnóstico asistido por ordenador: ¿los ordenadores convertidos en médicos?". The work exposes how computer-assisted diagnosis systems have evolved, what they are based on from a technological point of view and what results they offer.
