32 students from Mexico and Guatemala participate in the program "Drawing Architecture in Spain".

During the program, organized by the School of Architecture, the students visited 11 cities

17 architecture students from high school Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) and 15 from the Universidad del Istmo (Guatemala) participated in the program "Drawing Architecture in Spain".Drawing Architecture in Spain"that the School of Architecture University of Navarra has been organizing since 1990. The course was directed by Professor of Architecture and design María Angélica Martínez.

For three weeks, they studied the Spanish architectural design from the most notable monuments in the country. They traveled to Barcelona, Zaragoza, Pamplona, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Madrid, Toledo, Salamanca, Cordoba, Seville and Granada.

In Barcelona they sketched the walls of Santa María del Mar, the Palau de la Música and the Agbar Tower, among others. On the way to Pamplona they toured the Aljafería in Zaragoza with architect Mariano Pemán, and at campus in Navarra they received classes and visited several museums. Also, in San Sebastian they learned about the work of Rafael Moneo through the Kursaal and the church of Loiola.

At the same time, another 13 students from the Universidad del Istmo (Guatemala) attended the summer course in Pamplona. summer course of designcoordinated by the professor of the School of Architecture Juan Luis Roquete. This first edition had for goal the introduction of students in the Spanish design from monuments, companies and associations especially focused on the fashion design .
