Fourth-year students in the Economics Leadership and Governance (ELG) program of the School Economics of the University of Navarra have had the opportunity to take a subject course on entrepreneurship and innovation at Imperial College London.

For two weeks, from May 20 to June 2, participants received classes on entrepreneurship and social innovation from internationally renowned speakers. On this occasion, the students were able to learn, in situ, about the resources available to entrepreneurs at Imperial College to carry out their projects: enterprise labs, hackspace, business incubators and sessions with investors and entrepreneurs.

goal The purpose of subject is to provide students with the necessary resources to be able to correctly define their projects and turn them into reality. Throughout the program, participants have had the opportunity to work in groups to develop a project to which they have been applying the knowledge learned during the courses, from the creation of the idea to the preparation of the final presentation before the jury.

In line with the ELG program, the entire subject has had a clear orientation towards social impact. In this way, students have learned that the techniques presented are not only applicable to business creation, but can be applied to any subject of project.
