Professor Montserrat Montserrat Herrero has been appointed director of project of research "Religion and Civil Society" of the ICS, replacing Professor Rafael Alvira. Until now, Montserrat Herrero was the coordinator of project. The research of the project "Religion and Civil Society" starts from the principle that the crisis of modernity has opened the way to a resacralization of the world and tries to deepen the reasons why religion is a fundamental element in the constitution of any civil society, explaining how and why it can even become a protagonist. The project currently focuses on political theology; ethics, community and loyalty; and communication and secularization.
