On May 24 and 25, the University of Navarra hosted the I International I International teaching conference of Spanish for Specific Purposesthe final event of Litterae, an innovative project professor composed of Carmela Pérez-Salazar Resano, of the School of Philosophy y LetrasAna M. Fernández Vallejo, from ISSAEduardo Negueruela Azarola, director of ILCEInés Olza Moreno, of ICSand Nekane Celayeta Gil and Ana Zúñiga Lacruz, of the School of Education and Psychology.

During the conference, topics related to the communicative strategies and teaching to be developed in Spanish for Specific Purposes (EFE) classrooms were addressed, with special emphasis on lexical acquisition and ICT management.

Professors from American universities (Princeton University, Ohio State University, Rice University -Texas- and Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas) and Spanish universities (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Universidad de Alcalá, Universidad de La Rioja and Universidad San Jorge de Zaragoza) participated in these conference . Two students from the University of Navarra also intervened to explain their experience in the coordination and participation of a project of teaching of Spanish for refugees organized by AUNOM (association University for the Middle East) and Tantaka.
