The former student has spent three months preparing the production in Los Angeles of a short film starring Jon Kortajarena.
Íñigo Eguren, recently graduated from graduate with a degree in Audiovisual Communication, is currently shooting his short film in Los Angeles. Versusstarring Jon Kortajarena. The short film is a psychological thriller that is produced by his brother Koldo Eguren. Versus focuses on the story of John, a man who lives without leaving home, trapped by fears that he will try to overcome. The project is filmed in English and, in addition to Kortajarena, it co-stars another American actor whose name has not been revealed.
Kortajarena, who made his acting debut in Tom Ford's A Single Man, was according to Forbes magazine one of the highest paid male models of 2013. He currently has his sights set on developing a film degree program , for which he is taking acting classes in Madrid, New York and Los Angeles. Along with the Eguren brothers, he is participating in the production. Jon Aguirresarobeson of Javier Aguirresarobe (winner of six Goya awards), who will be the cinematographer director ; and Pablo Cervanteswho is producing the soundtrack. Cervantes has composed the soundtrack for 25 feature films to date and has been a finalist three times in the Goya Awards and three times in the Spanish Cinematographic Writers Circle Awards.
For Íñigo Eguren this project is a challenge that he is facing with enthusiasm but also, and he does not deny it, with some nervousness. Versus is a project that he had been thinking about for a long time, but it was not until almost a year ago when his brother offered him the opportunity to produce it. So, in recent months, Iñigo has been combining the closure of his university degree program with the beginning of his life outside the walls of the School. Right now, the project is in the pre-production stage, arranging everything necessary for the shooting.
