José Manuel Pozo participates in a colloquium on 'The modern buildings of the Iberian Docomomo'.

This international organization aims to inventory, disseminate and protect the architectural heritage of the 20th century corresponding to the Modern Movement in Spain and Portugal.

José Manuel Pozo, professor at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra and coordinator of the Master's Degree in design Architectural participated in the talk colloquium 'The modern buildings of the Iberian Docomomo', organized by the high school Official Basque Navarrese Architects and the City Council of Pamplona on the occasion of World Architecture Day, which was held on October 1.

The Docomomo Ibérico Foundation is an international organization whose goal is to inventory, disseminate and protect the architectural heritage of the 20th century corresponding to the Modern Movement, between 1925 and 1965, both in Spain and Portugal.

In addition to Professor José Manuel Pozo, who is the manager of the Docomomo Ibérico in Navarra for the housing category, the talk colloquium was attended by the heads of the Docomomo Ibérico in Navarra in the equipment category, Carlos Gabriel Ruiz Mújica and David Sánchez Bellido, and the architect Fernando Redón, one of the most prolific architects of the Modern Movement in Navarra.

The Youth House that hosts the talk is also one of the 19 buildings listed in the Iberian Docomomo Register. The building of the Youth Homes of the Women's Section and Youth Delegations (1965 - 1969), the current Youth House, was built according to the project of the architect Estanislao de la Quadra Salcedo in Sangüesa Street, 30.
