The University has held a meeting of alumni in Paris, with the president of the European Banking Authority and IESE professor, José Manuel Campa, and Dean of the School of Economics and Business Administration, Antonio Moreno

Both speakers had an interesting discussion on the future of the European Economics in the light of the recent report prepared by Mario Draghi, followed by numerous questions from the alumni.

José Manuel Campa pointed out that "the path of European integration Economics is still underway and this will benefit its Economics, in particular through the deepening of the European single market, something necessary to remain competitive at the international level."

In this sense, he commented on the opportunities that can be generated in Europe by exploiting the single market in sectors such as energy or financial markets. Likewise, and despite the fact that report Draghi points out the European deficit when it comes to generating large technology companies, Campa pointed out that European productivity is comparable to that of the United States or China in a good issue of economic sectors.

Among those attending the event, held at the Intercontinental Hotel, was Jose Manuel Escoin, University Secretary of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in France (COCEF). After the session, a glass of wine was served to continue the conversation and networking.
