The Sustainability Weeks kick off in the School of Architecture

It is the fifth edition organized by the Master's Degree in design and management Environmental Buildings.

The Master's Degree at design and management Environmental Building (MDGAE) of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra has organized several conferences with internationally renowned speakers, workshops and visits to different entities on the occasion of the Sustainability Weeks. This year, they will take place from Monday, March 5 to March 16.

Harvard professor and sustainable architecture expert Byron Stigge will give a lecture at lecture on "Infrastructural Ecologies: Alternative Development Models for Emerging Economies".

On the other hand, the architect and also recognized expert in the sector, Peter Fisher, will speak on "Leading-edge sustainable architecture" on Monday, March 12 at 12:30 p.m. at classroom Magna.

Together with Stigge and Fisher, framework Perino, professor at the University of Turin (Italy) will teach class to students enrolled at MDGAE as well as to students at Master's Degree from the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff (UK), and Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), with whom there is an existing partnership agreement.

The students will also have the opportunity to visit different entities such as Acciona, Cenifer, Cener (all of them in Pamplona), and they will also travel to Zaragoza to visit an urban complex that is under renovation, and the CIEM, the first zero-emission building in Aragon.

One of the objectives of the MDGAE is the internationalization. The incorporation of academic staff of different nationalities provides a global vision of sustainability and a particular one of how to materialize this concept from different points of view and climates.
