A new course starts at Master's Degree in design Architectural and Master's Degree in design and management Environmental Buildings.

On September 1, 2009, the School of Architecture University of Navarra received the students of this year's Master's Degree programs. The director of the School, Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val, welcomed them and thanked them for choosing the University of Navarra as the academic center to continue their training. The director was accompanied at the session by the new director and Deputy Director of the Master's Degree in design Architectural, Luis Suárez Mansilla and Víctor Larripa Artieda and by the director and deputy director of the Master's Degree in design and management Environmental Building, Ana Sánchez-Ostiz Gutiérrez and Purificación González Martínez.

In his welcoming address speech , Miguel Ángel Alonso encouraged students to take advantage not only of the specific training offered by the master's degrees themselves, but also of all the possibilities offered by the University of Navarra's School of Architecture and campus . Alonso emphasized that the University's main asset is its students and its greatest success is its alumni. The director encouraged students to take advantage of this time because "taking a Master's Degree implies for you to have an exceptional moment to reconsider your entire previous trajectory".

The Master's Degree in Architectural design has been taught since 2000 and more than 150 students of nineteen different nationalities have passed through its classrooms. Considered one of the best masters in Spain in the field of architectural design , according to the ranking of El Mundo, has teachers with a solid track record. This first semester of the 2017-2018 course will be taught by class Francisco J. Mangado (Navarra), Pedro Falcao de Campos (Lisbon), Esteve Morell (Gerona), Paolo Valerio Mosco (Rome), Joaquín Medina (Cologne), Juan Calatrava (Granada) and Akos Moravazansky (Zurich).

This academic year marks the beginning of the seventh promotion of Master's Degree in design and management Environmental Building, a program specialized in the training of experts in the field of environmental and constructive design . The quantification of sustainability, the realization of international stays in the United Kingdom (Cardiff University) and Germany (Technische Universität Dresden) and the realization of the work Fin de Master's Degree in companies of the sector are some of the attractions of this educational experience. In this course the MDGAE will have international professors José Luis Aguirre (Mexico), Georg Reinberg (Austria), Brian Meacham (USA), Byron Stigge (USA), Rab Bennetts (UK) and framework Perino (Italy).
