Alzheimer's disease is a progressive, degenerative and so far irreversible neurological disease that produces, among other symptoms, language disorders, loss of report and disorientation and can lead to a process of dementia. There are currently 600,000 people diagnosed in Spain and it is expected that by 2025 the affected population will double.

At CIMA we have been dedicated to researching this disease for many years. Through the project "REMEMBER: WE RESEARCH TO CURE. VOTE CIMA X ALZHEIMER "we want to provide resources to the research that we develop in Alzheimer's disease. There are several ways to deepen the study of this pathology. On the one hand, efforts are focused on the search for new drugs that delay the symptoms of the disease, but at the same time we are delving into the root causes that produce the loss of report and cognitive disorders.

Although the complexity of the disease hinders progress at research, the devastating consequences for the patient, their families and society require us to intensify our efforts in the search for a solution final.

With your financial aid and commitment in this project, we can dedicate more resources for the development of new treatments against this disease.
