Next Sunday, June 14, the Navarrese aizkolari Iker Vicente (Ochagavía, 1997) will try to beat the record of cutting logs in a solidarity challenge to collaborate with the research of COVID-19 that is developed in the Program of Immunology and Immunotherapy of the Cima.
The charity event "#Cortaelvirus #Birusamoztu" will be held at 12.15 pm, at the Navarra Arena Pavilion (Pamplona) and will be broadcast live on EITB, both on its first channel, as well as through its international channel and by streaming on its website.
The record attempt will consist of cutting 14 54-inch logs in a time of less than 27 minutes and 17 seconds, a record set by Donato Larretxea on August 15, 1995, at a test held in Donostia.
