"Be great managers of happiness. Happiness is not the naive dream of life, but a way of living it". This was stated by Professor Ana María Fernández Vallejo in the master class she gave to the final year students of Degree in management Applied, who graduated on Saturday, June 3.

The academic ceremony was presided over by Victoria Rodríguez, director of the School; Mª Carmen Erviti and Ana Belén Martínez, deputy directors; Susana Aulestiarte, General Manager; and Ana María Fernández, teacher and godmother of the graduating class.

Before a packed classroom Magna with family and friends accompanying the recent graduates, Ana María Fernández reminded them that we live in a time of "prodigious technological disruption" and encouraged them to be, as the sociologist Pinker said, opti-realists: "optimists without naivety". He also advised them to eliminate mediocrity and victimhood, vulgarity and intolerance from their strategic plan. "Instead, turn to the restraint of the classics, to the humility of the Christians," he said.

After his speech, María Sagredo (delegate) and Pedro Carpena, representing the students, offered a few words of thanks and recalled some of the most special moments experienced during the four years of degree program.

Victoria Rodriguez was in charge of closing the academic ceremony, after the submission of orlas and diplomas, but not before thanking the families for the trust placed in ISSA School of Applied Management for the training of their children. In her message she reminded the recent graduates that they are the future agents of change: "Be compassionate, empathetic and aware of your impact on others, and do not be afraid of failures, they are opportunities to learn".
