Ignacio Arellano, Full Professor of Literature and director of group of research Siglo de Oro (GRISO) of the University of Navarra, received the award Hocetes 2010, a award awarded by his hometown, Corella, which seeks to recognize the trajectory of individuals or groups.

In addition to the professor of the School of Philosophy and Letters, on this occasion the hotel businessman born in Corella Antonio Catalán and the Sociedad Deportiva Recreativa Cultural El Tonel, founded in that city in 1938, have also been awarded the award .

The submission of the Hocetes 2010 awards took place within the events scheduled on the occasion of the second edition of the Harvest Festival held in Corella. Ignacio Arellano was also in charge of reading the official proclamation of the festival.

Professor Arellano is the author or co-author of more than 100 books and a member of the Chilean Academy of the language, and of the International Association of Hispanists, the International Association of Hispanists, the Argentine Association of Hispanists, the association Association of Cervantists and the International Association of Spanish and Novo-Hispanic Theater of the Golden Age.
