Women from the fields of politics, business or culture, among others, meet with students from the University.

A group of students of the Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra has launched the cycle "Leadership skills in feminine". This is an initiative that seeks to bring young female university students closer to female leaders in professional fields as diverse as politics, business, law enforcement, and culture, among others. María Beunza, partner of Happeninn; Isabel Carrilero, Innovation Director of IGNIS Energía; Cristina Eseverri, the only woman inspector of the Foral Police and head of the Assistance Brigade of this body; or Marga Gutiérrez, film and documentary producer will be the first guests. visit In addition, a visit to the Parliament of Navarra, to talk with women from different political parties, is also planned.

"The idea came up after a seminar on feminisms that we had last year with the teachers María Cruz Díaz de Terán andInmaculada Alva", explains Blanca Ezponda, 2nd year PPE student and promoter of the cycle together with Ana Paula López and Eva Infante, from the same Degree. "Soon, we will be making the leap into the working world and we thought that the best way to find out what our future will be like in the performance of professions in which historically there has been a majority of men was to have a relaxed meeting with women leaders in these fields," she points out.

Thus, once a month, in 45-minute sessions, the guests will share their careers and professional experience with the attendees, who will be able to raise doubts, ask questions and reflect on the role of women in these professions. "Although the series is aimed mainly at female students of any course and Degree, it is not closed to boys," adds Ezponda.
