A score of Tantaka volunteers collaborate in the degree program of the Walls of the UNHCR.
The campaign enabled the UN Refugee Agency to raise funds that will be used to address the needs of refugees in the Mediterranean.
About twenty volunteers from Tantaka participated on Saturday, October 31 in the third degree program of the Walls of UNHCR, organized by the K1T Triathlon Club and in which 4,200 runners participated. One of the purposes of this campaign was to raise funds for the UN Refugee Agency. UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) with the (UNHCR) with the goal to cover the needs of Syrian refugees in the Mediterranean.
The races started at 6 pm and finished after 10 pm. In addition to the three races, of 6, 10 and 21 kilometers, the organization included as a novelty the degree program of the pirates for children, in which 400 children participated.
Yolanda Andueza, manager of UNHCR in Navarra and former student of the University of Navarra thanked Tantaka and the academic center for their commitment to this cause.
