The University of Navarra, together with the Confederación de Empresarios de Navarra(CEN) and the Centro Europeo de Innovación de Navarra(CEIN), is launching a lecture series aimed at businessmen, entrepreneurs and the general public, oriented to show with close examples, how a good design, understood in all its meanings (design of services, fashion, product, etc.) can influence very positively in business and in everyday life in general.

The goal of Business&Design is to bring the world of design closer to Navarre's business network and to all its citizens. "We want to bring benefits to Navarre's society through design. It is an intangible asset, which sometimes goes unnoticed but which can have a very positive influence both in business and in our daily lives. The design has many meanings, not only in terms of the product -the shape of things-, but also in services, user experience, health, fashion,... In each lecture we will try to reach different sectors", says Eduardo Domingo, director of development at the University of Navarra. School of Architecture of the University of Navarra.

The series will begin this Thursday, February 9, at 7 p.m. at School of Architecture and will be broadcast live on its website. Tim Karoleff, North American designer, will be the first guest in this cycle and will talk about "How to be a design entrepreneur". Tim Karoleff is a young and entrepreneurial designer, specialized in the design of furniture and products. He founded Ampersand in 2011, shortly after graduating from design at the University of Cincinnaties. He has worked for brands such as Samsung, New Balance, HTC or Johnson&Johnson. His goal, to this day, remains the same as when he started: to create nice and practical products that make people smile.
