Isabel Fernández, expert in artificial intelligence, speaks at the congress Zurich-Wake Up of the University of Navarra, which brings together 400 students.

"Artificial intelligence is in our lives, regardless of which mobile subject we use. It does not limit our freedom; on the contrary, it is a method of support to improve our service to others". This was stated at the University of Navarra by Isabel Fernández, managing director at Accenture Analytics. The expert spoke at congress Zurich-Wake Up, which brings together fourteen business leaders, academics, analysts and other experts, and 400 students from the academic center.

According to this expert, "without a good use of these technologies we will become extinct". For this, in addition to legal regulation, the three skills that will be needed in the near future, regardless of your area from work, will be " adaptation to change, innovation and passion", as well as a rigorous academic training .

The disease of power

Also speaking at congress was Luis Huete, an expert in international management and professor at IESE, who spoke at lecture , "Leading for the common good. In his opinion, "power without values and virtues corrupts and generates extractive elites. In this regard, he spoke of the disease of power: "All institutions fall due to a lack of virtue on the part of those in power. We have a system that fosters sociopathy: looking good, appearances, short deadline, lies, results. And if you look for results you create unscrupulous leaders". However, he concluded, "profit and purpose linked together make better organizations".

The congress Zurich-Wake Up, organized by students of the Leadership and Governance program of Degree of Economics of the University of Navarra, aims to be a space for dialogue between professionals and students with the goal of "promoting talent and reflection among the university community on the issues that will mark the social, economic and political diary in the coming years".

This year's edition of meeting brought together experts in innovation, leadership, motivation, art and politics. Among others, the director of Blablacar operations in Spain and Portugal, Álvaro Zamacola; the head of 'Cities & Communities' of Cabify, Isaac Martín-Barbero; the director of Deliveroo Editions, Jaime Martínez de Velasco; the manager of Digital Transformation at Zurich, Stefano De Liguoro; the director of the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, Miguel Zugaza; the director of the University of Navarra Museum, Jaime García del Barrio; and the professor of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts, Ricardo Piñero
