A new way of teaching with a project that applies specific disciplines of each learning area . That is the Philosophy of Integrated Learning, a bet that the University of Navarra has been developing in recent years, as part of its Horizon 2020 objectives. Within this plan of training, the School of Education and Psychology, in partnership with the Quality and Innovation Service, has organized the course "How to improve my teaching through integrated learning", aimed at teachers of all educational stages.

The course, of modality online, is distributed in 5 units, and will be taught by the teachers of the School of Education and Psychology, Dolores Conesa, Sara Ibarrola and Sonia Lara. "This course offers teachers resources to collaborate with other colleagues and raise a teaching where aspects that are taught in their subjects are related so that the student integrates different areas as part of the same reality and that financial aid him to understand it," explains Sonia Lara. "In addition, this style educational promotes a comprehensive learning of student in professional, personal and social competencies."

Guadalupe Pérez, coordinator of the course adds that "Integrated Learning provides a global vision of the contents and responds to the fundamental challenges of today's Education : learning to relate in a meaningful way the specific knowledge of each discipline, through reflection and organization of the work group".

The duration of this training program is 9 weeks, from January 20 to March 27, 2020, inclusive. The cost has several discounts, including a 25% discount for those centers in which there are two or more interested teachers; or a 10% discount for alumni of the University.
