Degree in Architecture, among the best in the world according to QS Ranking
The University's School of Architecture was the only private school in Spain to appear in this ranking.
The programs of study of Architecture of the University of Navarra has achieved the 151st position in the QS ranking by subjects, published by the auditors Quacquarelly Symonds. With respect to the rest of European schools of Architecture, it has been placed in the 59th position, and among the Spanish schools, it has obtained the 4th position, being the only private one at national level that appears in the ranking.
This is the first time that programs of study of Architecture of the University of Navarra is represented in the ranking. It is accompanied by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Politècnica de Madrid and the Universidad Politècnica de Valencia.
To compile the table, QS takes into account four indicators: the academic reputation of the center (51.2), the opinion of employers (62.5), cited articles (66.4), and the 'H-index' (58.4), which measures the scientific output of researchers according to the quality and quantity of publications.
At data , the University of Navarra has 11 areas of knowledge in the ranking where it stands out among the top 50 in the world in Business and Administration (position 27), in Communication (position 42), and in Accounting and Finance (position 50). Also among the top 100 are Philosophy and Law (positions 51-100), Economics (positions 101-150), Architecture and Pharmacy (151-200), and Medicine (201-250).
This year Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has evaluated 4,438 universities around the world, of which 1,117 have entered the ranking. QS has been carrying out its university rankings since 2004, and has become reference letter global for the comparison of university performance.
