45 students from Guatemala and Mexico to participate in the fourth edition of the Visitors Program

45 students from the Universidad del Istmo (Guatemala) and Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) will participate in the fourth edition of the University of Navarra's School of Architecture Visitors Program, designed by Professor Joaquín Lorda and directed by Professor Inmaculada Jiménez.

This two-week a course focusing on a single topic , aimed at foreign students, is dedicated to contemporary architecture in northern Spain. In the first week the theoretical sessions are programmed, which also include sessions of creative language through the tool of drawing.

In the second, Joaquín Lorda will accompany group on a journey through monumental Spain and the origin of Hispanic models of American architecture. The pathway includes cities in Castilla y León and Andalusia, with life drawing sessions in places such as the Alhambra, the cathedral of Salamanca, the aqueduct of Segovia and the Giralda of Seville. They will also visit buildings in neighboring cities such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Zaha Hadid's bridge pavilion at the International Expo in Zaragoza, the Ysios Winery (by Santiago Calatrava) and the Kursaal building (by Rafael Moneo).
