First session of the MDPO's 'My experience managing people' cycle
The Human Resources Director of group Bodybell, Teresa Cervera, opens the lecture series 'My experience managing people' oriented to the students of Master's Degree in Personnel Management Service in Organizations.
During a dynamic and participative session, Cervera developed the personal characteristics that, in his opinion, HR managers should have. Among them, he highlighted resilience, creativity, the management of data and confidence.
As Human Resources Director of group Bodybell, one of the main operators in the Spanish drugstore and perfumery distribution sector, she recognized the importance that the area of Personnel Management Service can have in the transformation of a business or organization. He also assured that it is a very rewarding work , while at the same time pointing out the difficult moments that are inevitably experienced in the profession.
His professional career has been marked by his interest in people and, in this sense, he highlighted the particularity of the name of this Master's Degree: People Management, as opposed to Human Resources.
Teresa Cervera has a degree and PhD in Law from the University of Navarra and a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from the Complutense University of Madrid.
