Luis Arturo Rábade (Mexico, 1961), professor at School of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Navarra since 1994, has died in Pamplona. He was married and father of three children.
An Industrial and Systems Engineer, he completed a Master's Degree in Management at high school Tecnológico de Monterrey and received his doctorate in Business Administration from IESE, with the highest distinction grade. In 1994 he joined the School of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Navarra as Professor of Business Management. Deputy Director from department of business, Prof. Rábade participated as researcher principal in several projects at research funded by both private and public entities.
Visiting Professor at the University of Western Ontario, his publications cover topics of leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation, but his main interest has always been people and their integral training in the business environment. A goal that led him to promote, together with other professors and professionals, the Master's Degree in Personnel Management Service in Organizations at the University of Navarra, of which he was Deputy Director.
