The School of Economics, first in Spain with accreditation EQUIS

Only four other Spanish schools, including IESE, have this recognition, which endorses the quality of the Education business school.

The School of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Navarra has received the academic accreditation EQUIS(European Quality Improvement System). It thus becomes the first Spanish School to receive this quality seal awarded by the European Foundation for Management development (EFMD) to educational institutions and business schools for their quality in the Education higher management and business administration.

Only four other Spanish centers, including IESE of the University of Navarra, have obtained this seal accreditation, all of them business schools. In addition to IESE, EADA, ESADE and IE have this seal.

"This recognition has been a great satisfaction because it is the result of thirty years of work seeking excellence, service to society and attention to students," said the Dean of the School, Ignacio Ferrero. "I want to thank the entire team, the staff administration and services, the academic staff and the associate professors for the work done," added the Dean.

Academic quality and high Degree of internationalization

EQUIS has accredited more than 170 institutions worldwide that are recognized by academics and business professionals. These centers must demonstrate not only high overall quality in all dimensions of their activities, but also a high Degree of internationalization.

The seal also recognizes the University of Navarra's School in Economics for its "high standards of academic quality and its close interaction with the business world, as well as its strong ethical and humanistic character". Likewise, it attaches special importance to the creation of a learning environment that favors the development of students' entrepreneurial skills and fosters their sense of global responsibility. It also seeks innovation in all aspects, including design of programs and teaching.

The School of Economics of the University of Navarra offers 9 programs of Degree, 4 of Master's Degree and 2 of doctorate. Regarding research, its publications are indexed in more than 100 international journals and it has more than 100 doctoral thesis . It also stands out for internationalization, with 36% of Degree students from other countries and 60% from postgraduate program. It has agreements with 124 universities in 40 countries and 100% of academic staff has international experience.
