34 companies and more than 2,000 people have participated in the University's Business Forum. Rosario Mancini

Fundación business University of Navarra organizes this annual workshop with the goal to put companies, the University and university talent on contact . This edition has been marked by 12 new activities, which have been added to the traditional stands of business.

Through them, more than 800 university students were able to correct their résumés in English, obtain a professional photograph or record their own video résumé. They also received advice on the freelancework , the search for professional opportunities abroad or how to make the most of their profile on LinkedIn. Also during the second part of the workshop, the participants were able to coordinate selection processes and presentations of different companies.

Youth unemployment

Another important activity was the presentation of IESE 's report "How to reduce youth unemployment in Spain. During the session, measures such as partnership between the administration, the educational community, companies and young people, the relationship between the public and private sectors, and the importance of entrepreneurship programs were presented and discussed.

Among the alternatives proposed for young people, he highlighted the orientation and training of those less prepared for the labor market, and the search for a balance between international outlets and the retention of talent for the most qualified. 

Very positive balance

Cristina Muñoz Corsini, director General Manager of Fundación business University of Navarra was satisfied with "The networking generated in this edition. We are grateful for the very important partnership of the companies, which help us to adapt what the University of Navarra offers to the needs of the labor market. This adaptation is essential to comply with our goal to improve employability".

The XXII Foro de Empresas concluded with Esteban Solano's discussion paper , "No me motives...por favor", which optimistically sample false myths about motivation in companies.
