conference IB: Towards an high school diploma international

Nearly forty people attended the conference de high school diploma International organized by the School of Education and Psychology.

Last week took place the conference IB (high school diploma International) organized by the School of Education and Psychology. During two consecutive days, students of the Master's Degree Official in academic staff and teachers from different schools in Navarra, some of them interested in the IB, had the opportunity to attend to attend theoretical and practical sessions given by speakers from schools with IB experience in Madrid (IES Ramiro de Maeztu), La Rioja (IES Sagasta) or high school San Patricio (Toledo), as well as to listen and share experiences with the IB Regional Manager in Spain, María Paz Menéndez.

Among the topics discussed were: Didactics of Mathematics, Didactics of History, Didactics of language, or about changes, challenges or good practices in IB Centers.

Among the approximately 40 attendees at conference, it is worth mentioning the presence of IES Navarro Villoslada, the only IB center in Navarra.

The high school diploma International is one of the most advanced teaching modules offered in more than 3,700 educational centers around the world that allows student to train in the knowledge and the right skills to enter the best international universities. For more than 45 years, IB programs have been recognized for their high academic standards and for preparing students for the globalized life of the 21st century. Today, there are more than one million IB students in approximately 3,700 schools in 146 countries.

Likewise, in Spain, B is expected to grow in the issue of certified centers offering these programs.
