The VI edition of FIERA, held this year at School of Architecture in Barcelona in order to facilitate the presentation of journals based in Barcelona and to make the fair known to other universities, took place between November 2 and 6.

During that week, a busy space of stands was organized in which the participating magazines exhibited their issues and facilitated the acquisition and subscription of ETSAB students to the publishers and magazines.

On the 5th, FIERA's annual meeting took place, with exhibitions by magazines and publishers in the morning.

The session was opened by José Manuel Pozo, professor at the ETSA University of Navarra, who presented the Spanish facsimile edition of Bruno Taut's book"Ein Wohnhaus" (A House to Live In), which T6 Ediciones has just published.

After him, Ricardo Devesa, publisher of ACTAR, presented the UrbanNext platform, reflecting on the future of the magazine and the printed book and the importance of its digital versions. In his speech, Devesa said that a printed book is not replaceable by a digital one, but at the same time stressed the importance of catching up with the current times in which social networks and immediacy in the news play a key role.

Architect Félix Arranz, for his part, showed the publication Scalae, of which he is publisher, which seeks to present architects through their vision staff about themselves, what they think about other architects and what other architects think about them. Along with these interviews, a project of the architect's career is also published.

This was followed by a presentation of the different ETSAB magazines in their different Departments. ACE, Palimpsesto, QRU, ID, D'Ur and Cercle presented their editorial lines, their latest issues and their expectations for the future.

The celebration of FIERA was an opportunity for the teachers of the Barcelona School to learn about what is being done in terms of research and dissemination by their colleagues from other Departments.

In the afternoon took place the annual meeting of the representatives of the magazines integrated in FIERA, in which support strategies were studied to achieve a greater diffusion of the Fair and of the work meritorious of the publishers and magazines.

Afterwards, the event was closed with the submission of award FIERA, which this year went to TC Cuadernos, for its work in the dissemination of architecture. The award was collected byRicardo Meri de la Maza, who gave the closing lecture .
