MAS Consulting and the School University of Navarra's of the University of Navarra have launched the Public Affairs Labthe first laboratory of ideas and innovation on public affairs in Spain.

The initiative, which will develop its activities both in Pamplona and Madrid, aims to bring university students closer to the reality of the world of lobbying and the management of public affairs, a professional discipline increasingly important in Spain.

The Public Affairs Lab first session of its first session, the students learned about how lobbying works in Spain. 

During the next few months representatives from the business world, the third sector, politics and the media will participate in different sessions of work with the students, both in Pamplona and at the headquarters of postgraduate program of the University of Navarra in Madrid. Some of the participants will be: Cristina Hernández, General Manager of MAS Consulting; Javier Agudo, manager Public Affairs for Southern Europe of VISA; Emilio Lliteras, Director General of UTECA or Juan Páramo, manager Corporate Affairs and Communication of Greenward Partners, among others.

"Direct interaction between the academic and professional spheres is an ideal way for students to integrate the knowledge they acquire and know how to orient it to the search for solutions to social needs, and this alliance goes in that direction", considers Francesc Pujol, director of the program Economics, Leadership & Governance program at the University of Navarra.

According to Daniel Ureña, partner Founder & President of MAS Consulting in Spain, the Public Affairs Lab "will help bring students closer to the reality of a professional field that is increasingly in demand in Spain and from which they can contribute to having a positive impact on society".
