Dolores López, Carolina Montoro and Juan José Pons, professors at department of Geography and Land Management of the University of Navarra , participated in the workshop graduate Latin American Migration to United States and Spain: diary for comparative research held at Princeton University, USA.

Dolores López presented results of a project of research carried out at the high school of Family Sciences of the University of Navarra in a lecture titled 'The contrast in migration patterns of Latin American groups residing in Spain'; Carolina Montoro gave a lecture also located in this study, titled 'Integration process in Spain: an analysis focused on the differences according to the immigrant's home country '; and, finally, Juan José Pons gave a talk titled 'Latino emigration to the USA and Spain: a brief review'; and, finally, Juan José Pons gave a talk titled 'Latino emigration to the USA and Spain: a brief review'.Finally, Juan José Pons gave a talk entitled 'Latino emigration to the U.S. and Spain: a brief review'.

The implementation and development of this meeting is part of the project "Frontiers and Culture" of Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra, directed by Professor Caridad Velarde and in which the three professors participate. Together with the dissemination of the research carried out at the University, another of the objectives of the stay was to design and specify a framework of relationship and exchange between the two centers. The Office of Population Research is an internationally recognized institution of research demography. It has a long and fruitful history of scientific contributions to population programs of study in areas such as formal demography and fertility change. In recent times, it is expanding its research activity in areas such as migration and urbanization with experts such as Douglas Massey, current director of the office and host together with Magaly Sanchez-R, of the workshop.
