The international competition , aimed at young people between 13 and 18 years of age, seeks to promote healthy habits among young people.

The University of Navarra has opened the deadline of presentation of works for the second edition of Nutrivideo, a contest aimed at students between 13 and 18 years old. The international competition , held under the degree scroll "Comer bien, salta a la vista", aims to promote audiovisual initiatives that include messages related to the importance of good nutrition among young people.

The contest, sponsored by the Chair Tomás Pascual Sanz-University of Navarra, is developed through Youtube. Thus, until April 30, the works will be posted on the Nutrivideo channel of this platform. The videos, which cannot exceed 3 minutes and 59 seconds, must be made by a maximum of three students and a tutor of the center or association.

The first edition of competition, organized by the School of Pharmacy and its degree program of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, was attended by nearly 400 students from 90 schools and institutes in Spain. The YouTube channel had 45,000 visits, making it one of the 40 most viewed channels in the world for two months. In addition, some videos registered more than 13,000 visits.

Awards for the best and most viewed video

The submission awards, which will take place on May 28, will include two categories: best video and most viewed. The jury will be composed of professors from the Schools of Pharmacy and Communication, from the high school of Dietitians and Nutritionists of Navarra, as well as from the sponsoring and collaborating companies.

The first award will receive a laptop for each member of group (except for tutor) and a computer, consisting of a computer and a projector, for the students' school of origin. For its part, the most viewed video, according to issue of reproductions on YouTube, will receive an interactive whiteboard for the center.
