A construction workshop for parents and children at the Citadel

The Biennial of Architecture of the University has organized several activities in May open to all citizens.

From a film series to a family construction workshop, from the dissemination of Latin American literature in the libraries of Pamplona to a route through bars of architectural interest with a tasting of Latin American products. The Cultural Interchange of the Architecture Biennial of the University of Navarra aims, through social activities, to bring architecture closer to the citizens.

The gastronomic route offers the following itinerary: Bistrot Catedral (Navarrería 20), La Juana (Mercaderes 31), Picnic (San Nicolás 72), Hilarión (Eslava, 13), Tinglado (San Nicolás, 4), Bahía (García Castañón, 3) and New Trujal (San Fermín, 55). Every Wednesday in May, from 8.30 pm to 10 pm, the participating bars will offer a selection of Latin American products.

On Mondays this month, a selection of Latin American films will be screened at the Filmoteca de Navarra at 20:00h: on the 8th, "The Salt of the Earth" (Brazil); on the 15th "Whisky" (Uruguay); on the 22nd "Los Colores de la Montaña" (Colombia) and finally on the 29th "Relatos Salvajes" (Argentina).

The eight libraries of Pamplona continue with the dissemination of Latin American literature and have organized fun activities for families. For example, at the Library Services Pública de San Pedro, on May 16 at 6 p.m., there will be an indigenous painting workshop (Ecuador) for children from 5 years old together with their parents.

In addition to those already mentioned, the interchange has organized a"Contest of essay about the Architecture of Pamplona", aimed at all schoolchildren in the city whose submission awards will be held on May 16.

On May 19 at 19:30h, he will offer a session under the stars, on the sky of the Mayan and Aztec Architecture, at conference room Tornamira of the Pamplona Planetarium. position It will be given by the Planetarium's director , Javier Armentia, astrophysicist.

Finally, on May 21, a construction workshop for parents and children will take place at the conference room de Armas of the Citadel, from 10 am to 4 pm. Starting with materials such as bricks or plaster, families will be challenged to build different Structures (bridges...). To liven up the workshop, folkloric performances and tasting of Latin American products have been organized.
