Wilfrid Laurier University of Canada, winner of the University of Navarra Case Competition
A total of 64 students from 16 universities in 10 countries took part in the 7th edition of this competition.
The Case Competition team from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada won first place in the academic case competition of business University of Navarra International Case Competition (UNICC). A total of 64 students from 16 universities, from 10 countries, participated in the 7th edition of this competition, unique among Spanish universities, and organised exclusively by students from Schoolof Economics and Business Administration.
Over the course of six days, the participants in the Case Competition tried to solve problems as professional consultants for businessCongelados de Navarra, groupde Iniciativas Sociales Icària and Helvetia Seguros in front of nearly 40 professionals who acted as judges, from entities such as PwC, Deloitte, Bankinter, Credit Suisse, and the consultancy firm Ayming Consulting.
Students from the 16 teams participated in the 24-hour final round of the competition, which took place at the Hotel Tres Reyes and at Schoolof Economics on the insurance company Helvetia Seguros. The team from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada won first place in the competition, second place went to the University of Alberta in Canada and third place to the National University of Singapore .
In addition to competing as professional consultants, the teams from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Singapore, Ireland, Netherlands (Holland), China (Hong Kong) and Thailand, together with a groupfrom Spain, were able to learn about Navarrese gastronomy and culture from the Schoolof Economics.
