The Ukrainian Ievgen Artamonov, student of the Master's Degree in design Architectural of the School of Architecture result of the University of Navarra, has won the first award of the Rome Contemporary Chapel (RCC) competition, organized by ARCHmedium and aimed at students and young architects. In this XXIV edition, 96 students and 73 architects applied.

The jury described Ievgen Artamonov's proposal , entitled Allegory of Faith as "an interesting bet that uses few elements to recreate the adjacent park and enhance the value of the place della Moreneta. He uses demolitions and existing buildings to recompose the place and generate public spaces from them.

The proposed space is not an object but an unfinished infrastructure in a unique position that proposes an uninvasive atmosphere of silence and introversion to fulfill the program of the competition".

A multicultural platform for projects exchange

ARCHmedium was born in 2009 and since then it has been dedicated to the organization of architectural competitions for students and young architects.
